Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall...there are no cozier accommodations anywhere in the high country in the Sierra Nevada mountains.  The Lodge is semi-secluded within the Tahoe National Forest.  At an elevation of 5,100' this is the perfect escape from winter fog or summer heat and the rigors of city living.  The lodge is ideal for those who enjoy nature and outdoor activities.  The tall pines and clear blue sky provide a perfect scenic setting that offers a wonderful way to relax and play in the mountains.

When visiting the lodge in winter, park your vehicle at Foresthill's China Wall  OHV staging area and traverse the remaining half mile on your snow shoes, cross country skis, or snowmobile.  Luggage can be transported to the lodge for you during winter.  The last section to the lodge is not plowed, however, the trail is groomed.  Easy access in summer!
